We’ve had a long tradition of winning here in Edmonton and we plan to continue this trend by winning the Grey Cup for the first time since 1993. Even though we have had the best CFL regular season record of any team in the league the illusive cup has been out of our hands and our city for over a decade.

Hopefully with the likes of Mike Pringle, Ricky Ray, Ed Hervey and an outstanding defense the cup will be ours once again. So stay tuned for more upcoming CFL information and make sure to meet up with us at Commonwealth Stadium on November 15, 2003 for a GREY CUP RALLY!!

Imagine the odds against playing sports at the college or university level. Hundreds of thousands of young men and women play sports in this country every year and just a minuscule handful every make it to the collegiate level.

Take that one step further and recognize the number of collegiate athletes graduating each year after their four-year career and recognize that it’s but another minuscule handful that will ever make it in the professional ranks.

So to play professional sports for 16 years is akin to getting hit by lightning. It happens. Just not often. But it happened to a young man from Ontario and Edmonton fans were the lucky ones who got to witness the unusual happening.
